“It’s been over 22 years from the moment me and my brother (Aleksey Merzlikin) shot this video! This is in Germany in 1996, right after the Battle of the Year '96.
We were on tour for two months which we were invited to join by our friends from Wedding B-boys crew. I have to say that this one is not the easiest of our adventures. We were illegal aliens in a foreign country, two five-minute performances in one show. A workshop before the show and a transfer to another city afterwards. This is how it was on daily basis for sixty days. Some people would find it amusing, but you are out of amusement after a week’s time. At some point I had no energy to do a baby freeze.
In the video, we did some training if we had strength left. Also, some clips from our performances. I didn’t edit the video, left it as it is.
Lyokha could do the horizon and UFO back then (he could do them since 1988, I was only starting to learn them)
When we came back to Russia in 1997 I did a compilation video of those performances.”
