The Soul Surfers return to Saint Petersburg! The Nizhny Novgorod band, who found a key to recording funk music and became a global synonym to Russian Funk, will play a grand solo concert in MOD club.
No other Russian ensemble can boast releasing over 30 vinyls around the world and cooperation with maestros of the international funk and soul scene, like Shawn Lee (Ping-Pong Orchestra), Jan Whitefield (Poets Of Rhythm, Whitefield Brothers, The Malcouns, etc.), Didier Selin (ex-The Soul Investigators), Malcolm Catto (The Heliocentrics), Janko Nilovic, Carlton Jumel Smith, Rickey Calloway, Will Sessions, Myron & E, etc.
Life performance experience of the Soul Surfers has been refined at various festivals, including Saint-Paul Soul Jazz in Fance, Funk Embassy in Estonia, Holy Groove Festival in Switzerland, as well as Russian events: Afisha Picnic, Yalta Summer Jam, Faces&Laces, StereoLeto, Usadba Jazz, Alfa Future People and many more.
Let’s be honest, the Soul Surfers do not come to Saint Petersburg with shows so frequently. Last time you could see them live was on the roof of MOD club in August 2018. This time, the show will be held indoors. Fans will also get the chance to watch a movie about recording a band’s album with Shaun Lee in the finest quality using the club’s stereo system! On top of all this, the band has promised to bring their new vinyl records!
Traditionally, a few of those who bought the tickets will be listed for a free vinyl contest.
The tickets are cheaper on the earliest stages!
