12 April 2014. Song-Battle
Nominations: Soviet songs, Folk songs, Foreign songs (popular pop songs from 1960s till present time),
Mini-contest: Songs about Space (Soviet and modern Russian songs in Russian).
Time-table:
15.00 – Entrance. Registration of participants
16.00 – Soviet songs battle. Any songs of Soviet period are sung. Max.
15 performers. 8 singers are selected for battle. They should know 4 songs.
17.30 – Folk songs battle.
Any folk songs from around the world are sung. Max. 15 performers.
8 singers are selected for battle. They should know 4 songs.
19.00 – Mini-contest: Songs about Space.
Max. 8 participants. Each performer sings the entire song. After all have sung, the winner is announced by juries.
20.30 – Foreign songs battle.
Max. 15 participants. Any songs of foreign singers are sung.
8 singers are selected for battle. They should know 4 songs.
General rules:
All songs are performed by heart. Performers may sing:
- A capella;
- Accompanied by any music instrument;
- To backing track. Participants bring their own tracks and submit them during registration.
During selection, performer sings a couplet and refrain, and during battle - the entire song.
Juries may stop a performer at any moment during the battle.
